【About our MediBang TraDe team】
MediBang specializes in translating, localizing, and distributing Japanese manga and games to the global market. We’ve brought over 2000 titles to more than 100 countries through 50+ online distribution stores!

We are looking for a part-time localization staff (Japanese to English) who is passionate about games and manga. If you can speak a native level of English and a business level of Japanese, apply now!

【Responsibilities】

• Translation of content
• Review and edit translated content to ensure accuracy and quality of the translations
• Convert files (translated content) into different formats and upload them to the server
• Support for translation project managers
  *Translate and edit using Google Sheets, CAT tools, Photoshop.
  *This is NOT a remote position. Must be able to work in our Shibuya office.

必須スキル

【Requirements】

• ・Native level of English (CEFR C2 or equivalent) and professional localization capability.
• ・Business level of Japanese (JLPT N2 / CEFR B2 or equivalent).
• *About Status of Residence
• ・Applicants must hold a status-based visa with no employment restrictions.

OR

• ・Applicants must be eligible to switch status of residence to "Engineer / Specialist in Humanities / International Services" prior to the start date.

歓迎スキル

【Preferred but not required】

• ・Prior experience in translating/localizing games or manga is a major plus
• ・Photoshop or InDesign skills
• ・Experience in scheduling, coordination, and/or project management is a major plus
